Senior Club

Subsciption: $95 for the entire season ($5 casual fee, junior aged players still only pay junior prices)

More on Fees...
The first night a player comes to the club is free. Players may then opt to pay the full season's subscription or pay a casual fee on a per night basis. This casual fee is $3 for junior players and $5 for senior players. However, there are certain benefits to becoming a subscribed member of the club including eligibility for interclub teams and much, much more!
It is important to note that junior players (8+ years old and still at school) that play with the senior club still only need to pay the junior subscription. Also a family subscription discount of 10% is available to families of three or more players from the same household.
Membership forms are available for download and can then be handed in at club night or posted to the address mentioned on the download page.
Equipment, Clothing and Coaching
All you really need to bring along is yourself, we have new racquets you may use each night free of charge and feather shuttles are provided. Gum-sole shoes are useful for grip but any shoes with non-marking soles are fine. Also, we are now selling quality badminton racquets, shoes, bags, strings and grips at a much lower price than retail. Grips are $6 for one, $10 for two and then $5 per grip on top of that. Talk to a committee member for other prices or if you want to make a purchase..
As far as clothing is concerned anything goes for club nights though keep in mind that clothing should allow for free movement, and even on the coldest nights it can still be quite hot while playing badminton! Dress standard for interclub is a little tighter, players will be informed about this prior to interclub commencing. We also have club shirts available to any players, but would particularly like to see all interclub players in them.
Coaching is available upon request so please don't hesitate to ask, even if all you want is advice! Due to limited space and large numbers of both juniors and senior players it is impractical to use up an entire court to coach only a small group of people but those in the know are certainly happy to help anybody with questions about technique, court position or anything else that springs to mind.
